About Just One Fax
The fax service for people who do not want a fax service.
Sometimes a clinic, insurer, government office, lawyer, employer, or records department still says “fax it.” You should be able to do that once without adopting faxing as a lifestyle.
Why this exists
If you already have a finished document and destination number, you can prepare the pages, verify the number and count, pay once, track the result, and leave without maintaining a fax account.
With Just One Fax, one outbound U.S. fax costs $5 and can contain up to 100 pages. No account and no subscription are required.
What Just One Fax does not offer
Check these limits before deciding whether the service fits your fax.
- No international or broadcast faxing.
- No inbound fax number or reply inbox.
- No customer account, saved contacts, or permanent document library.
- No API or high-volume business workflow.
- No guarantee that every recipient line will answer or accept the transmission.
- No claim of HIPAA compliance or universal suitability for regulated documents.
If you need those things, use a provider designed and contracted for them. “Smaller” should never mean hiding a missing requirement.
How document privacy works
Your file is temporarily stored to prepare and transmit the fax. Delivered documents are deleted after transmission. Failed documents may be held briefly to support a retry, then deleted. Transaction metadata needed for delivery status, receipts, support, fraud prevention, payment accounting, and legal duties can remain longer than the document.
Account-free checkout and short document retention reduce the amount of information stored, but they are not compliance certifications. Read the privacy notice and verify the requirements that apply to your document before uploading it.
Avoid wrong numbers and incomplete submissions
Old numbers, purpose-mismatched lines, missing attachments, and assumptions about “delivered” status can derail a fax. Use the fax guide to check your submission.
