Crop and inspect each page
Retake blurred pages, correct the crop, and rotate pages before saving. Zoom in on signatures, dates, and small identification numbers.
Upload from Safari
Open the transactional site, add the destination and email, choose the saved PDF from Files, and add a cover page only if needed.
Review and keep status accessible
Confirm the final page count and number before checkout. Leave the status tab open or use the emailed result after payment.

A document scan is better than a camera snapshot
A scan tool detects page edges, flattens perspective, and can combine several sheets into one PDF. A normal photo often includes a desk background, shadows, skewed text, or a page that fills only part of the image.
Place the paper on a flat, contrasting surface in even light. Avoid a lamp reflection on glossy cards. Hold the phone parallel to the page and check the saved result, not just the live camera preview.

For a signed PDF, reopen the saved version and confirm the signature is actually embedded. Some markup workflows leave changes in a draft or create a new copy in a different folder.
Prevent the common mobile mistakes
Autofill can put a phone number into the wrong field, and a one-digit error can reach a different fax recipient. Compare the number against the recipient’s current instructions immediately before checkout.
Keep the iPhone connected during upload and preparation. Once payment is confirmed and transmission begins, the fax proceeds remotely; the final email means you do not need to keep the browser in the foreground.

What if the upload picker cannot find my document?
