Sourced fax-number directory
A fax number is useful only with its source and purpose.
Just One Fax is building a directory for government agencies, insurers, healthcare records departments, courts, and financial institutions. We will not invent numbers or publish an unsourced list to make the directory look full.
The directory opens record by record as each entry passes the standard below. Until then, use the recipient’s current official website, current form instructions, or direct confirmation.
The verification standard
Every future directory record must answer more than “what digits appeared on a page?” The same organization may publish different fax lines for claims, appeals, medical records, legal process, regions, forms, or departments.
Primary source
Link to a current page or document controlled by the recipient organization. Third-party directories can help locate a source but cannot serve as the evidence.
Exact purpose
State which form, department, document type, region, or workflow the number serves. “Main fax” is not substituted for a purpose-specific line.
Recipient identity
Identify the organization and, where relevant, office, state, facility, plan, court, or business unit so similarly named recipients are not merged.
Sending instructions
Record required cover-sheet text, identifiers, attention lines, page limits, accepted forms, or other instructions that affect routing.
Last checked date
Show when the primary source was last reviewed. A number without a verification date becomes impossible to evaluate as pages move and departments change.
Conflict handling
Withhold a number when current official sources conflict or when purpose cannot be established. Uncertainty is displayed, never patched with a guess.
What “verified” will and will not mean
Verified will mean that a cited primary source published the displayed fax number for the stated purpose and that we reviewed that source on the displayed date.
Verified will not mean that the line is always available, the organization will accept every document, the instructions never changed after our check, or transmission alone completes a filing. Senders should recheck high-stakes destinations and follow the recipient’s own rules.

These are planned evidence categories, not a claim that every organization in them accepts fax. We will publish only what a current source supports.
How to verify a number right now
- Start at the recipient organization’s official website, not a search-result snippet.
- Find the current form or instructions for your exact document purpose.
- Match the department, region, form, or claim type to the number.
- Read cover-sheet, reference-number, deadline, and confirmation requirements.
- Save the source and access date with your final document and transmission result.

Why are there no fax numbers on this page yet?
Because we will not seed a directory with guessed, scraped, or secondary-source numbers. Records will appear only after they meet the published primary-source verification standard.
What counts as a primary source?
A current page or document published by the recipient organization, or direct confirmation from that organization. A search snippet, third-party directory, forum answer, or old repost does not qualify by itself.
Does a verified number guarantee my document will be accepted?
No. Verification establishes the published number and purpose as of a stated date. You still must follow the recipient’s form, routing, deadline, cover-sheet, and confirmation rules.
What happens when sources disagree?
The record is withheld or marked for re-verification. We do not resolve conflicting official instructions by guessing which one is newer or broader.
