Read the billing terms, not just the first price
Some fax services are genuinely subscription products, and that is not inherently bad. The problem comes when an occasional sender sees a low trial price but misses the renewal date, monthly charge, page allowance, overage, or cancellation process.
For any provider, check whether checkout authorizes recurring billing, how long a trial lasts, what counts toward the monthly limit, and how to cancel. A pay-once product should state plainly that the payment does not renew.

That narrow design removes account and subscription work, but it also means this is not a full office fax platform. Teams that need shared access, inbound numbers, archives, or compliance administration should use a service built for those needs.
A fixed price still needs clear boundaries
The $5 price applies to one outbound fax, one U.S. destination, and a final document of no more than 100 pages. It does not cover international dialing, multiple recipients, fax broadcasting, or inbound replies.
If the recipient line fails, the status and email explain the terminal result and available retry or refund path. A payment does not guarantee the recipient’s line will answer or that its staff will process the document.
