Practical steps

How guest faxing keeps its place

01

Provide a result email

Use an inbox you control. It receives the final status and helps you retain a receipt for this specific fax.

02

Prepare and review the fax

Add the destination and files, then check the prepared page count and document order before paying.

03

Open the private status link

After checkout, the transaction has an unguessable status URL. Keep it private just as you would keep an emailed receipt private.

04

Keep the result you need

Save the final email with your own copy of the transmitted document. There is no account dashboard to return to later.

No account does not mean anonymous

The service still needs transaction information: the destination fax number, your result email, document data, payment confirmation, and operational records used to send and support the fax. Payment is handled through checkout rather than a stored Just One Fax billing profile.

The difference is that you do not create reusable login credentials or a persistent customer workspace. The transaction can still be subject to fraud prevention, rate limiting, legal requirements, and provider records.

The privacy benefit is less retained product state

A guest flow does not need a saved address book, profile, password reset record, or cross-transaction dashboard. Documents are held temporarily for preparation and transmission, then deleted after delivery. Failed documents may remain briefly for retry before deletion.

Metadata needed for receipts, support, fraud prevention, payment accounting, and legal obligations may outlast the document itself. Read the privacy notice for the categories involved.

What you give up without a dashboard

You will not have a searchable archive of every fax, a shared company workspace, saved cover sheets, or stored recipients. Use your result email and your own file-management system if you need an audit trail.

For regulated workflows, an account-free consumer service may not provide the contracts, access controls, retention configuration, or organizational oversight you need. Just One Fax does not advertise HIPAA compliance.

Questions, answered

Details before you send.

Why do you need my email if there is no account?

The email receives the transmission result and transaction communication. It is not used to create a password-based profile.

Can I sign in later to see fax history?

No. Keep the status link and result email for each fax because there is no account history dashboard.

Is the status link public?

It is designed to be unguessable, but anyone you share it with may be able to access its transaction status. Do not post or forward it unnecessarily.

Does account-free mean HIPAA compliant?

No. Just One Fax does not claim HIPAA compliance. Confirm that any service meets the rules and agreements that apply before sending regulated documents.
