Terms of use · updated August 23, 2026
One fax, with clear sender responsibility.
These terms describe the boundaries of the one-time outbound fax service. Do not use the service if those boundaries do not fit your document or obligation.
The service
Just One Fax prepares and attempts to transmit supported documents to one U.S. fax number per transaction. The advertised $5 price covers a final prepared fax of up to 100 pages. No account, subscription, inbound number, broadcast delivery, API, or international delivery is included.
Your responsibilities
- Enter and verify the correct recipient fax number and document purpose.
- Have the right and authorization to possess and transmit every document.
- Review all pages, signatures, fields, attachments, and cover information before checkout.
- Follow recipient, deadline, filing, confidentiality, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Keep the final status, your sent copy, and any additional confirmation the recipient requires.
Prohibited use
Do not use the service for unsolicited fax advertising, harassment, fraud, impersonation, threats, malware, illegal material, bulk or automated campaigns, infringement, unauthorized disclosure, or any transmission prohibited by law. Attempts to evade rate limits, payment controls, destination limits, or abuse protections are also prohibited.
Delivery status and recipient action
Fax delivery depends on external networks and the recipient’s equipment or provider. A line can be busy, disconnected, unavailable, incompatible, or incorrectly published. The service does not guarantee that every attempt will be delivered by a particular time.
A delivered status indicates a successful transmission result from the fax provider. It does not prove that a person reviewed the pages, that the recipient matched them to the right matter, or that a filing, claim, request, notice, or deadline was accepted.
Payment, failure, retry, and refund
Payment is collected after document preparation and before transmission. When a provider reports a terminal transmission failure, the status page or result communication presents the available retry or refund path. A sender-caused error, including a wrong but functioning destination number or an incorrect document, is not a transmission failure.
Privacy and document handling
Documents are temporarily processed for preparation and transmission, then deleted according to the privacy notice. Transaction metadata may remain longer for receipts, support, fraud prevention, payment accounting, and legal obligations.
No compliance representation
Just One Fax does not advertise HIPAA compliance and does not represent that the service satisfies every legal, regulatory, contractual, professional, or recipient-specific requirement. You must determine whether the service is suitable before sending protected or high-consequence information.
Service protection and changes
Transactions may be rejected, limited, paused, or canceled to protect recipients, users, providers, and the service; enforce these terms; address fraud or abuse; or comply with law. Features, supported destinations, limits, and terms may change, with the current version published here.
