Cost and volume

Page price is only half the math.

Nextiva Essential's $7.95 annual-billing monthly equivalent is below the cost of two Just One Fax sends and includes 500 combined pages. It is worthwhile only if an annual account and recurring inbound/outbound workflow are useful.

Just One Fax prices each destination as a separate $5 transaction. One page and 100 final pages cost the same, but a second recipient or a later fax costs another $5. It does not preserve an unused monthly allowance or provide a fax number between sends.

Choose by workflow

Who each service is actually for.

Choose Nextiva vFAX when

A business with steady domestic send-and-receive volume or an existing fax workflow it wants to move into a portal.

  • You send or receive throughout each month
  • You need hundreds of pooled pages and a persistent fax number
  • You want portal, email, print-client, or fax-bridge workflows

Choose Just One Fax when

The requirement is one prepared outbound U.S. fax, not a fax account.

  • You have one outbound fax and no recurring office need
  • You do not need receiving or a permanent number
  • You want to avoid an annual billing commitment

What Nextiva vFAX changes

The added capability has a tradeoff.

Distinguishing strengths

  • Large 500- or 1,000-page monthly pools
  • Inbound and outbound faxing through a managed portal
  • Email, Windows print client, and optional fax-machine bridge workflows

Limits to inspect

  • Lowest displayed prices require annual billing
  • Inbound and outbound use share the same page pool
  • International fax numbers are not supported

Hard boundaries

Account, inbound, geography, and compliance.

These distinctions rule out more options than a small price difference does.
