At Dropbox Fax pay-as-you-go rates, a 10-page fax is $0.99 and a 30-page fax is $4.99. Above that point, its per-page charge can pass Just One Fax's fixed $5 price, while Just One Fax remains capped at 100 final pages and one U.S. destination.

Just One Fax prices each destination as a separate $5 transaction. One page and 100 final pages cost the same, but a second recipient or a later fax costs another $5. It does not preserve an unused monthly allowance or provide a fax number between sends.

For a short fax, it can be. Dropbox Fax includes five one-time free outbound pages and then charges $0.99 for up to 10 pages. Just One Fax is a fixed $5 for one U.S. fax up to 100 final pages.

Does Dropbox Fax require an account?

Yes. Dropbox says the five free outbound pages are provided when you create an account.

Can either service receive a fax?

Just One Fax cannot receive faxes. Dropbox Fax offers receiving through paid plans rather than its free outbound allowance.
