Cost and volume

Page price is only half the math.

FaxBurner can be free while the five lifetime outbound pages remain. After that, its $14.95 Professional plan is a recurring 500-page product, while Just One Fax remains $5 per separate send and includes no inbound capacity.

Just One Fax prices each destination as a separate $5 transaction. One page and 100 final pages cost the same, but a second recipient or a later fax costs another $5. It does not preserve an unused monthly allowance or provide a fax number between sends.

Choose by workflow

Who each service is actually for.

Choose FaxBurner when

Someone who needs to receive a small occasional fax at a temporary U.S. number, or wants a paid permanent-number plan.

  • You need a temporary number for an incoming fax
  • Your outbound document fits within the five lifetime free pages
  • You want a permanent paid number and 500-page monthly pool

Choose Just One Fax when

The requirement is one prepared outbound U.S. fax, not a fax account.

  • You need to send more than five pages in one U.S. fax
  • You do not need an inbound number
  • You do not want to register or subscribe

What FaxBurner changes

The added capability has a tradeoff.

Distinguishing strengths

  • Free temporary inbound number
  • Free monthly inbound allowance
  • Email and iPhone workflows plus paid permanent-number plans

Limits to inspect

  • Only five outbound pages are free for the lifetime of the account
  • The free number lasts 24 hours
  • FaxBurner says it is not HIPAA compliant and should not carry PHI

Hard boundaries

Account, inbound, geography, and compliance.

These distinctions rule out more options than a small price difference does.
