Office applications can save or export directly to PDF. For paper, Windows can work with a connected scanner through its scan tools. Whichever route you use, reopen the saved PDF before uploading it.

No. Create the document on Windows and upload it through a browser; the online service handles transmission.
Can I fax a Word document from Windows?
Export it to PDF first so you can verify the exact pages, fonts, and filled fields before sending.
Does my PC need a fax modem?
No. A fax modem is only needed when the computer itself dials over a compatible telephone line.
